"Nowhere Boy has the authenticity of nonfiction, with all the heart and pulse of a great novel. As a journalist, who has reported on the refugee crisis for years, I was deeply impressed by how real and gripping Marsh's tale felt -- from the very start -- as a father and son clung to a life raft in rough seas. I found this book harrowing to say the least, it was certainly different and your love for the central character grew throughout the book. I certainly cried, got angry, and often despaired that the boy would find peace of mind and above all love. I cried at the end but admired the courage of the boy from nowhere/5().
